Here's the sitch!

Christy Carlson Romano, she’s the voice behind Kim Possible and also played Ren on Even Stevens. She is a very talented lady who can and has done it all.

She has done a wonderful job of doing the voice of Kim in Kim Possible. She certainly has a talent for voice-overs, but what about acting? "No big" as Kim would say. She is most recognized as Ren from Even Stevens but she has also stared in such movies as Cadet Kelly, Looking for an Echo, and Henry Fool. She also had a guest starring role on Joan of Arcadia.

And if that wasn’t enough, she can sing too. And boy can she sing! Her popular songs for TV shows and movie such as, "Say the Word" [Kim Possible], "Teacher’s Pet" [Teacher’s Pet], and "Dream Vacation" [Even Stevens Movie], are proof of her great singing talent. But go beyond that to her recently released album "CCR Disney Channel TV & Film Hits" and you’ll discover other great songs such as "Dive In", "Colors of the Wind", and "Could it Be".

Still Christy’s talents don’t end there. She can also act on a stage too. She has apparently worked on theatre productions since she was young, and now has been performing the role of "Belle" in the Disney theatrical production of "Beauty and the Beast".

So many talents and so beautiful. ;-) Yet like Kim, she just seems like your "basic average girl", with a very busy schedule. She even finds time to go to school and work on her Poly Sci. major.

Unfortunately she was overshadowed much of her time at Disney by the spotlight hogs Hilary Duff and Raven. Don’t get me wrong, they are both very talented. But I think these two unintentionally caused Christy to get overlooked by many. But as you can see, she is very multi-talented, and will go very far in the future. I look forward to seeing where she goes in life. :-)

Christy Carlson Romano made a guest appearance on Mike's Super Short Show to promote Kim Possible: So the Drama DVD. View the file here (7.9 MB). Thanks Adam! :-)

I got to meet Christy Carlson Romano in person in December 2005 and April 2006! :-) See the pictures here!
